Moderate Sedation
Moderate Sedation: A drug-induced depression of consciousness during which patients respond purposefully to verbal commands, either alone or accompanied by light tactile stimulation. No interventions are required to maintain a patent airway, and spontaneous ventilation is adequate. Cardiovascular function is usually maintained.
In dental practice, moderate sedation is commonly used for anxious patients or those undergoing more complex procedures. It allows the patient to remain conscious but in a relaxed state, typically able to follow instructions but less aware of the details of the procedure. This level of sedation is often achieved through oral medications or intravenous drugs, and it requires appropriate monitoring of the patient’s vital signs throughout the procedure.

Feedback From Our Past Events
Wonderful event every year. I was very interested in Dr. Naftalin's lecture as I don't know anyone who is using remimazolam in their clinical practice.
Great anesthesia CE. Really appreciate the meeting and allowing military members to attend at not cost.
First time for me. Overall very impressed.
Very useful, information about OZEMPIC is very good. Management of emergencies was very good and will be implemented.
